Like Dorothy of Oz and formerly Kansas, Allorah (that's me)  continues to pursue a circular path.  Unlike Dorothy I am so NOT "G" rated and yes, I am way old enough to remember the G rating.  It's taken me a long while and a focused effort but I find now that the growth process really can be fun...(even when it's kicking me in the butt!)   That said, some of the particulars are; I've studied Wicca, massage, polarity therapy, Pranic healing, reiki, hypnotherapy, crystal healing, and other sundry esoteric topics.  Presently I am on break from pursuing an doctorate/ masters, or perhaps I am just in the research mode for the paper.  I tend to shy away from a large "audience" setting; but I do love a one on one even if it's five on one...what can I say, I was born in Hollywood, California so maybe some of that rubbed off.

I find that mythology is fundamental to our growth, be it classic Greek or Star Wars/ Star Trek.  Whenever possible I try to infuse my work with my clients with levity because I appreciate that the process can be scary and HARD!  I've done readings face to face, on the phone, by email and in a party setting.  I love to watch the growth and manifestation by my clients and other loved ones.   I appreciate the importance of a good kick in the butt and a real motherly hug.  I still work because like most of us, I still have to work; I do the work I do because I want to make a difference.

ALLORAH'S INSIGHTS

May 27, 2015

Time flies, we are more than a third of the way through spring and almost half of 2015 has come and gone.  For most of us, it’s been quite a roller coaster so far; I confess that I manage some days more gracefully than others.  How about you?  What are your thoughts about how your year is unfolding?  Are you encouraged by the progress you are making?  How are you managing the epiphanies that you are having about your world?  Have you been able to see the blessings within challenges you are facing?  Have you abandoned (any or all of) the plans you made for 2015 and beyond?

For me, the process unfolds in layers.  I am thankful for the shifts in insight I am being offered on a daily basis.  I admit that I there are times when I check out and behave in ways that sabotage my best laid plans, only to “come to” and realize that I have lost ground and need to recalibrate the path to my intended destination.  I am frequently stopped in my tracks by my old programming.  I am consistently presented with the conflict between what I know (in moments of connection to my inner guidance) versus the uncertainty I feel when I attempt to know “how and if” my vision will come true in the “real” world.  As I write this, I am reminded of the adage that, every journey begins with a single step.  Thus I am reassured that the key to success is perseverance.  When I fall off my camel, it is only a matter of time before I dust myself off and climb back into the saddle.   I hope that the same is generally true for you.  When you realize that you’ve gone off course, compassionately refocus yourself.    Should you discover that your goals have shifted, honor that realization; it may be that you have grown beyond your previous goal.

I believe that what we desire is meant to serve and inspire our spiritual and personal evolution.  In this process, change is natural because that is growth is natural.   I have a list of dreams that I have been working toward most of my life.  I always hold them in my heart.  It is these dreams that revive me, buoy me up and propel me to keep trying.  Lately, I have more faith.  I recognize that the fulfillment of the intentions I have committed to is inevitable.  To that end, I am proactively doing exercises to support and sustain my transformation into a richer more fulfilling life.  I want what I want, and I am getting better at making choices that allow my road to fulfillment to be pleasant journey.  I hope that moving forward, I will build upon this new skill so that I choose to travel first class enjoying the whole trip.   I also hope to meet you in the good seats.

Namaste,
Allorah
